Terms of Use of Evîn

Welcome to Evîn. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Evîn mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “App”).
By creating an account or using Evîn, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Evîn. By using the App, you confirm that you are legally permitted to enter into this agreement under the laws of your country.
We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you are under 18 or have violated these Terms.

2. Account Creation and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree not to share your account with others or use another user’s account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at info@evinapp.net if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate our policies or pose security risks.

3. Use of the App
Evîn is designed to help users connect for dating and social interaction in a safe and respectful environment.

3.a Community Guidelines – Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content
Evîn has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. By using the App, you agree not to post, upload, share, transmit, or submit any content that: Is obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or contains nudity Sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors in any form (this will be reported to law enforcement immediately) Contains harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, intimidation, or abusive language Is defamatory, libelous, or violates another person’s privacy or publicity rights. Contains violence, gore, or content intended to shock or harm. Promotes illegal activity, self-harm, suicide, or dangerous behavior. Contains spam, scams, phishing, fraudulent schemes, or unsolicited advertising. Impersonates another person, brand, or entity, or creates a fake profile. Solicits money, personal financial information, or other things of value. Infringes on any intellectual-property, trademark, or copyright. Violates any applicable law or regulation. Violations result in immediate and permanent account termination without refund.
Depending on severity, we will also report violations to the appropriate authorities.

3.b Reporting Objectionable Content and Abusive Users
Every user has tools inside the App to help keep Evîn safe: In-app Report button, available on every user profile and in the chat menu. Reports can be filed for: inappropriate content or nudity, harassment or abusive behavior, fake profile or impersonation, spam or scam, underage or unsafe content, or other reasons. Moderation commitment, every report is reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours.
Content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines is removed, and the offending account is warned, suspended, or permanently terminated depending on severity. Developer notification when a user reports content or blocks another user, our team is notified automatically and logs the event for moderation review and pattern analysis.

3.c Blocking Other Users
Every user profile and chat menu includes a Block action. When you block another user, they are removed instantly from your Meet up feed, Matches, Likes, Favourites, and Chats. Existing matches and chat history between you are deleted.
 

A blocked user cannot re-contact you unless you unblock them.
Blocking events are logged internally so our moderation team can review abuse patterns.

3.d Other Prohibited Conduct
You also agree not to:
Attempt to hack, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or circumvent any security feature of the App
Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers on the App
Share another user’s personal information (name, location, photos, messages) with third parties without consent. Create multiple accounts, use another person’s photos, or otherwise misrepresent your identity. Interfere with our moderation, reporting, or blocking systems. We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines at our sole discretion.

4. User Content
By uploading or posting any content (such as photos, text, or media), you grant Evîn a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, display, and distribute
that content solely for operating and improving the App.
You retain ownership of your content. However, you are solely responsible for the content you
share, and you represent and warrant that your content does not violate Section 3.a
(Community Guidelines).

Evîn does not endorse user-generated content and does not guarantee the accuracy or authenticity of content posted by users. End-User License Agreement (EULA) for User-Generated Content: By accessing any user-
generated content in the App (including profiles, photos, messages, and feedback), you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms of Use and that you will use the reporting and blocking tools described in Section 3 if you encounter objectionable content or abusive users.

5. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and processing of your personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy (available in the App and on our website). By using Evîn, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.


6. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain features of Evîn (e.g., premium features) may require payment or a subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us (or our payment processors) to charge your chosen payment method. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. All purchases are non-refundable, except where required by law or stated otherwise in the App Store / Play Store policy. Prices and subscription plans may change with prior notice.

7. Location Services
Evîn uses your location (with permission) to show nearby users. You may disable location access at any time through your device settings, but this may limit some features of the App.

8. Safety and User Interaction
Evîn cannot verify every user’s identity or intentions. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, both online and offline.
We encourage you to: Never share financial or personal details with others. Meet in public places for your safety. Use the in-app Report and Block tools (Section 3) to flag suspicious or harmful, behavior  reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Contact local authorities if you believe a crime has occurred
Evîn is not responsible for any damage, loss, or harm resulting from user interactions.

9. Intellectual Property
All materials in the App (including logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and software) are owned or licensed by Evîn App and protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use any part of Evîn for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if:
You violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or our policies. Your content or conduct is reported and found to violate Section 3.a (zero-tolerance policy) such accounts are terminated immediately. Your activity risks the safety or integrity of the platform. Required by law or court order. You may delete your account at any time in the App (Profile → Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting us at info@evinapp.net. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately and your user content is removed from public-facing surfaces.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Evîn is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Evîn disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Evîn App and its affiliates shall not be liable for any: Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data, reputation, profits, or goodwill. Damage arising from unauthorized access, technical failures, or user conduct. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid (if any) for using Evîn within the last 12 months.
 
 
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Evîn App, its employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from: Your use or misuse of the App. Violation of these Terms or the Community Guidelines. Violation of any rights of another user or third party.

14. Modifications to the Terms
We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted within the App and on our website with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of Evîn after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with international laws, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts. Users outside the EU may also have rights under local consumer protection laws.

17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Evîn App and supersede any prior agreements regarding the use of the App.
